Kyla Alvarez-Espinal '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyla Alvarez-Espinal, I’m a Middle Hitter and Opposite graduating with the class of 2019.  I have been playing volleyball for the past 4 years and still have the passion I had when I first started, even now joining a new sport. As much as I love hitting and getting blocks, digging and getting that pass is amazing. I played my sophomore year on my high school team for JV and had a good experience with my teammates, but with the privilege of playing club that’s my preference. The character that I carry I have the passion to challenge myself and fulfill success out of the achievement made. 

I really want to carry my passion of playing onto bigger moments in college. I want to excel in academics now and in the future to get the degree that I have always wanted but also, the career I’ve always been interested in. Currently in high school, I carry 2.6 GPA. However, I know I can do much better to my best abilities. I want to study in college or university international business and history something that I’m passionate in fulfilling.
