My name is Mikaila Pitts and I recently completed my Freshman year season at Leroy Greene Academy, a Charter School in Natomas Unified School District in Sacramento, CA. I was starting middle for our varsity team this year and helped lead our team to a second place finish in the Northern Pacific Athletic Conference. I was named first team all-league by the coaches and MVP of the league.
I played Middle Hitter for Auburn Aces for two years during Middle school, finishing 4th in GOLD Division on 12U in the Northern California Volleyball Association, and 3rd in GOLD Division in the West Coast Volleyball Association on the 14U Black team in Premier League. Our team attended the WCVBA Presidents Day Showdown POWER league tournament in Redwood City and also finished in GOLD Division, placing 5th out of 76 teams. We attended the NCVA POWER league Spring Classic at The Grounds in Roseville, and finished 5th out of 58 teams. We also played in the Far Western National Qualifier in Reno, and finished in Bronze Division, at seed 47 out of 136 teams.
This year I will be playing in NCVA Power League with Olympus Volleyball Academy's 15-1 Team. Here is our 2024 Tournament Schedule:

My favorite positions are Middle and Outside hitter. I also enjoy serving, passing and stepping into set as needed. My goals for the future are to complete high school, play all 4 years on Varsity and continue playing competitive club volleyball through out high school. I want to attend a Division I college, keep playing volleyball, and I currently have interest in Marketing/Advertising, Business Management, and Law.
Outside of volleyball I like to listen to music, read, and hang out with my friends. But I really love volleyball and just want to play everyday, for as long as I can!
This Summer, 2023 I trained with:
* my Varsity high school Summer program, including weights and conditioning at Leroy Green Academy
*A variety of local club clinics in Sacramento, including clinics with Olympus Volleyball Academy, and Omni Volleyball Club.
*Exact Sports Camp Sacramento: NCAA Showcase - here is my player evaluation from that camp: https://mycamp.exactsports.com/pr_share/90273/99a91f81-1cb1-4098-80b9-810bae4f23ea
