Karli Grigsby '13 Recruiting Profile

I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Karli Grigsby and I am a junior at Sir Francis Drake High School.

I will graduate from Drake high school in San Anselmo, CA in the year of 2013. I have played volleyball since 6th grade and have been on varsity the past two years. I am extremely passionate about this sport and am always looking forward to play. I am a 5’11” outside hitter. I am a great teammate, who is always there for the people on my team.

I play for the Absolute Volleyball Club. Last year on 16s we ended up 16th place out of close to 200 teams, and it’s a real accomplishment. I’ve been playing for AVC since I was I was in 7^th grade, and up to now I’ve been the starting outside ever since. I also played one year at Marin Juniors when I was 12.

I’ve been eating right and keeping in shape for this upcoming season of club. Our goal this year is to go to USAV Junior Nationals in Ohio in June, and we are going to make it happen. I have plenty of tournaments throughout the year and I hope some of you will come and watch.
