My goal is to play college volleyball while pursuing a degree at a top academic university. Due to my summer birthday, I have always had to "play up" and I found my niche as a Defense Specialist/Libero on my Absolute 15-Black Club team. I competed in the Junior National Championships in 2018, 2019 and qualified for 15National Division in 2020 (season/tournament cancelled due to COVID19). I was the MVP of my Middle School team. I have a strong serve, play beach to refine my on-court strategy and increase endurance, and I have a strong court sense from starting my volleyball career as a setter. One of the things I'm proudest of is being told I'm "very coachable."
I love the camaraderie of volleyball. I am a leader for the teams that I play for. I rally and motivate my teammates when we are down. I always keep a positive mentality and play hard until the finish. I'd love to bring my commitment and versatility as a player to a college team where I can make an impact.
My education is the most important factor in my future and I am enrolled in Honors classes at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. I treat academics with the same intensity and integrity I do with volleyball. I am also committed to volunteering 200 hours of community service throughout my high-school career, and I am a member of National Charity League.
