Jessenia Chavez '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jessenia Laki Chavez. I live with my mother, father, and two little sisters. My mother and father's names are Lota and Billy Chavez. My little sister's names are Christiana and Mikaela Chavez. I am El Salvadorean and Samoan. I live in Soledad, Ca and I go to school at Soledad High School. I am a very motivated learner because I am always interested in learning something new and I love going to school. I also have a positive outlook when it comes to school asnd getting an education. I love playing sports because it keeps me in shape, I meet new people, and I enjoy being active. I consider myself to be a leader because I always somehow put myself in a position where I am in charge. I am also used to this because since I am the oldest I have to be in charged when it comes to my sisters. The type of school I want to go to is most likely a medical school because it is my dream to become a trauma doctor, but I am also keeping my mind open to any school. My goal as an athlete is play at the highest level possible and to become the best athlete I am able to be. Lastly, the most important thing I can offer a team is my positivity on and off the court, my support towards my teammates, and I can also be a very inspiring leader.
