My name is Sophia Negron, and I’m a 5’6” middle and outside hitter in the class of 2028. I currently start for my high school Junior Varsity team and lead both vocally and by example on the court. I’m interested in competing at the collegiate level in a program that’s both competitive and built on strong team bonds. I’m also looking for a school with strong academics, as I plan to study law.
Athletically, I’ve been recognized as “Most Improved” both in 8th grade and again as a freshman—something I’m proud of because it reflects how seriously I take my development. I’m determined, coachable, and push myself to be better every day. I’m also a multi-sport athlete, competing in varsity basketball and softball, which I believe makes me a more versatile and mentally tough volleyball player.
Academically, I maintain a 3.94 GPA and am dual-enrolled at San Joaquin Delta College to challenge myself further. I also stay involved outside of sports by volunteering at Tracy Interfaith Ministries, which keeps me grounded and service-minded.
