Hannah Issenmann '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi!  My name is Hannah Issenmann,

I was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i. I am 17 years old, currently attending James Logan High school in Union City, California and graduating with the class of 2024. My main position is middle blocker but recently my coach has given me the opportunity to play outside and opposite hitter.  Not only am I an aggressive person on the net but also in back row. I take pride in every serve and pass I can get for my team even if I'm the tallest one back there. I love connecting with my team on and off the court to have a better understanding about everyone's strengths and weakness and why we love the sport so much.  I am a hard worker on court and in school as well, the majority of my time is used for studying and volleyball.  I am looking for a school that not only has a great volleyball program but an academic one too. I want to become an RN, and  I understand this field of work is very time consuming especially if sports are involved but my love of volleyball would only push me to be the best I can of both worlds. Many of my older friends have gone into college playing sports and study in the medical field. I drive to be the best in my academics and volleyball career. I try to bring joy, laughter and  encouragement the people around to always do the best they can.
