Isabella Denk '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabella Denk. I am a student athlete attending Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware.  I will be graduating in Spring 2020. I wish to attend college and play volleyball at a higher level. I plan to pursue studies in Health Science.

      I have played volleyball since 6th grade. At the High School level, since 10th grade, I have played as a Defensive Specialist. The last two years our Red Lion Volleyball team made the State Tournament, and my coach told me that I “played like a veteran.”  I started playing club volleyball in 9th grade; this past club season I played Defensive Specialist and Outside Hitter for Premier Volleyball of Delaware on an 18’s team. Even though I am very dedicated to volleyball, my academics come first. I have maintained a 3.8 GPA through my high school career. Also, I am a member of the National Honor Society. While playing club volleyball the past three seasons, I have also played basketball and soccer for my high school team at Red Lion. I have been awarded most valuable player in each of these respective sports, and this past year I received honorable mention in my DIAA Conference for basketball and 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-State in soccer.
