Chelsea Doswell '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chelsea Doswell, and I am a setter for the class of 2020. My passion for the sport continues to grow and it has been a great joy playing volleyball for the past 6 years! I am a well-rounded player who has played right side hitter and DS when needed. I have wonderful experiences as a setter at a 6A Division High School, in Crestview, Florida and I was named Max Prep Player of the Match, Oct 2019.

In 2018, I was selected “Outstanding Setter at the Combo Camp in Tampa Fl”, and recognized as “Best Setter for Florida State Volleyball Camp 2019”. I was honored to be selected to the 17U Pensacola Waves at the 2019 AAU competition. Additionally, it was an honor to be a part of the Gulf Coast USAV High Performance team that competed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2018 and in Ft Lauderdale Fl in July 2019.

For travel, I played with the 850 Elite Club, 17U, Lani. As a team-leader/Co-Captain, I love encouraging and pushing my team-mates to the best of their ability. Looking forward, I would love to be a part of a volleyball team that successfully achieves their dreams.

For enjoyment, I am proud to have been a part of the Hurlburt, AFB Swim team and Eglin AFB Swim.  I am looking forward to starting college and would like to major in Communication Disorders and become a Speech Pathologist.
