Hi, my name is Isamary Zapata-Bermudez. I’m reaching out to express my interest in volleyball. I’ve been playing volleyball for 7-8 years and have developed a strong passion for the sport. I’m eager to continue improving my skills. I’d love to learn more about the opportunities available within each college team. And as I'm becoming a senior volleyball player with a strong commitment to both my sport and academic success, I am eager to pursue a life in my next chapters and grow as an athlete at the next level and academically. I play as a Libero/DS and have developed my skills in many ways, excelling in defense with a focus on improving my serve receive, and overall court vision. Throughout my high school career, I’ve maintained a disciplined work ethic and led by example, both in practice and during competition. I am looking for a program where I can contribute immediately, continue to refine my skills, and help drive my team to success. I am excited to take the next step in my athletic journey and would appreciate the opportunity to connect further. I aspire to continue playing competitive volleyball while earning my college degree to become a veterinarian or a medical degree. Apart from enriching my prior knowledge, I wish to develop and reenforce the skills needed in the classroom as well as on the court. Both education and this sport are my top priorities. With the support from my family and friends, I am motivated to continue the on-going process of learning what is needed and apply it as well as promote teamwork to reach success in all areas. This makes me a good candidate for the team. The ultimate goal is to work hard and become an asset to my field of choice and the team.
