My name is Giuliana Batelli and I will graduate from Marco Island Academy High School, Marco island, FL, in 2027. I am an outside hitter and I am eager to play volleyball at the college level for a school that has a great academic reputation and strong women’s volleyball program.
Michael Jordan once said "Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you have run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go though it, or work around it" so that's what I did this year in club volleyball. I played club volleyball for the past four years with Florida Gulfside Volleyball Academy (FGVA) in Naples, FL. Unfortunately my Gulfside 16u Prime team did not gel and fell apart after Show Me Qualifier in Kansas City this year. I am so grateful for 305 Volleyball Club director, Alan Obrador, making it his priority to keep me on the court. He allowed me the opportunity to try out for 305 Volleyball Club in Miami, FL. I made their 16 NE-Christian team and will be playing post-season for 305.
I plan to study business administration and journalism. I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society. I have 4.1 grade point average (GPA) and I am continuing to take honors and advanced placement (AP) courses.
My goals are being a great teammate, competing at the college level, and graduating with honors.
