I started playing volleyball at the YMCA when I was 6 years old. Growing up I played multiple sports, but as I got older and started to play more competitively, I knew this was the only sport I wanted to play. Volleyball has always been my safe place. The court is somewhere I can be myself and show people that little is quick and powerful. I see myself as a natural born leader and someone people can depend on. I inspire my teammates to push themselves to be their best. I am confident, outgoing and never have trouble making friends. I value God, my family, and friends. I take honors and dual enrollment classes and maintain a high GPA. I have a good balance between school and volleyball so when I am off the court, I use that time to study, do homework, or hang out with my friends.
I plan to pursue a degree in psychology while continuing to play. I believe that nothing is handed to you, so if you want something you have to go and get it. I am willing to put in the work and do whatever it takes to get to the next level. I hope to continue playing volleyball in College.
