Ellie Nosich '15 Recruiting Profile

On March 30, 2014, my team won the 17 American Gold at the Disney Volleyball Showcase and secured a Nationals bid for June.  I was blessed to be the only player on the team to play every play for the 3 days. On April 4, 2014, my team went on to win the Silver at The Big South.  Recently, I was named Miami-Dade County Second Team for the 2013 school year. I am now in the middle of a great Senior year of high school volleyball.  In my last game against an also 7-0 team, I scored 13 kills and 6 aces. This year, I play every point. 

I am an enthusiastic outside hitter looking to pursue a university that will allow me to best prepare me for admission and success in law school. I have not set any definite boundaries as to the location of the school. 

I have dedicated my non-academic time to playing volleyball at school and club levels since the 6th grade. I was a starter on all of those teams and was honored numerous times with various personal achievement awards. I would be grateful to enter a program where I could make an immediate impact. However, I understand my initial playing time can be limited by the coaching staff.  I am a team player and was appointed captain on many of my teams including the current team.

Last year I have set various goals that included improving my strength, raising my GPA and performing well on both the SAT and ACT. I am proud that I accomplished all of these goals. 

I look forward to a chance to qualify for a Division I or II school.
