Brooke Singleton '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball competitively at the age of 5.  I have grown into a well-rounded player with strong volleyball IQ. 

I have attended four national tournaments playing 14U, 16U, 18U, and 17U. 

I have been a starter on the Varsity at St Cloud High School all three years. Freshman year I was the team’s libero.  Sophomore and junior year I have been a 6 rotation ds and outside hitter.  Depending on the team’s defense, I was either MB or LB.

I try to be a leader on the court as well as in the classroom. I currently carry a 4.0.

I know due to my size I might be limited in college to play only back row.  I focus on being the best defender on my team and I love to focus on serve receive and defense before the attack.  I feel it takes a great 1^st pass to start a great offensive attack.  I like being the silent but great start of each play.

I am a 3 sport Varsity athlete in high school.  I played Varsity soccer freshman and sophomore year.  This year I have switched back to Basketball.  I also play Varsity Tennis with All Conference honors sophomore year.

I feel I am easy to work with and get along well with others and take direction from my coaches easily. The team and teammate comes 1st. I am a very competitive person, and want what is best for the team at all times. I like to be pushed and consider myself a hard worker.

I work with the Pre K program at my school and am pursing a certificate in child development.

I would like to play at the next level while pursuing my college degree. I feel that I can be an asset to any team given the opportunity.

I am undecided on a major at this time and open to anywhere in the US.
