Alana Carter '25 Recruiting Profile

I will be a 2025 graduate from Wesley Chapel, Florida attending Wesley Chapel High School. I developed a passion for volleyball when I was in middle school and now dream of playing collage level volleyball. Volleyball has taught me camaraderie and teamwork. My usual position is setter, however, recently I have also been utilized as a right side hitter. This has taught me the value of hard work and practice that is required to learn a new position while simultaneously building upon my skills as a setter. I learned to push myself to meet my goals whether they are learning new skills, winning a game, or getting good grades. I am considering a future in physical therapy or sports medicine. Some of my favorite memories from volleyball is losing, even though winning is great, losing can teach a team how to be resilient and how the team con improve.
