Tori Stone '18 Recruiting Profile

    2014 as freshman at Auburndale High School.  I just recently moved from Kentucky where I started on the freshmen team as an 8th grader for Bullitt East High School.  When trying out for the Auburndale team they did not have a freshman team so I tried out for JV and made the starting team.  With 5 games played as a JV sitter I was asked if I wanted to dress Varsity.  I accepted the invitation and currently I have now played in 4 Varsity games as a freshman.  I have not gotten the playing time that I am used too but I am working hard and getting valuable minutes in each match.  I have set some goals for me to reach and hopefully by the end of the year I will get the playing time that I feel is accommodating to my skill and ability.

    2015 I was able to make the Varsiety team as a starter but was requested to change my position from a setter to a outside hitter.  I openly accepted the opportunity to broaden my skills so that I may contribute positively to the team.  Even though we did not have a season that I wanted I was able to obtain 83 kills (missing 5 games to injury) in 13 matches.
