Lucy Wages '26 Recruiting Profile

My home is Bogart, Georgia, which is outside of Athens.  I started at setter my freshman season for North Oconee High School, which competes in AAAA in Georgia.  I was named All-Region Honorable Mention, Team Newcomer of the Year, and I was MaxPreps Player of the Match for five matches my freshman season.  I led the state in assists (618) for freshmen for my first season and I set school season records for assists/set (7.53) and aces (81) and the school match record for aces (16).  I was one of 42 freshmen named to prepvolleyball.com "Fall Stars: Class of 2026" and I was the only freshman selected to the Athens Banner-Herald/onlineathens.com All-Area Volleyball Team.  I was also selected as the Freshman of the Year by the Oconee Enterprise.  I attended IMG Academy in Florida for my sophomore year and I was named to the Top 100 in Florida by PrepDig.  I am back in Georgia to finish high school playing for A5.  I consider my strengths to be my athleticism and my ability to play all-around.  I primarily play setter, but I am willing to play any position on the court that my team needs me.  I have a sister who played volleyball in college, and I would love to be able to find a school where I could continue my volleyball career after high school.
