Gabrielle Castillo '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi My name is Gabrielle Castillo and  I am 18 years old and  a senior at Davidson Fine Arts. I played my final season in High School where we won 1st in our Region and    went on the  state Playoffs where we made it to the Sweet 16. Walking away from my high school season I earned many awards and    got inducted into the hall of fame. I made junior varsity but got moved up to split squad (I played both junior varsity and   varsity games)  my last three season I played on varsity and    started as libero my last two years. I was also apart of Davidson track team for 4 years, two in middle school and two on varsity. Outside of school and  sports I am apart of the Davidson Chorale where we took all superior at LGPE. I am also apart of the gifted program and  taking all honors classes. I am very hard working and have a strong love and drive for athletics which also drives my academics. I am always willing to put in the work and  extra hours to improve and  grow. I am very excited to work with different coaches and learn new things to further improve my performance. My dream has always been to continue both my academics and athletics at the collegiate level and    to better myself and  my skills. This will be my first club season playing and I am very excited for what's to come. I am very loud and energetic and  quick on my feet, I love to have a good time but I also know when to focus.
