My name is Jenesys Moctezuma; I am a rising senior at North Cobb High School in Georgia. I started to play club recreational volleyball in Puerto Rico when I was 9 years old, but the passion and love for the sport made me keep developing to improve my game. My family and I moved to the United States when I was 11 years old and since then I had play travel and varsity volleyball. As a Libero/DS player, I am a dedicated and hardworking athlete, and I am eager to find a college where I can excel both athletic and academically. I am very athletic with a very strong mental game that can bring to a team a high level of energy. I am very coachable and always looking to learn something new. I always have a good attitude no matter the circumstance. I love encouraging my teammates and helping them to get out of their heads during the game. I’m a pretty fast learner. I’m good at shaking off my mistakes and fixing them instead of dealing with them. I’m flexible, whatever the coach needs/ thinks it’s the best for the team I will support 100%. I give my all on and off the court on my good and bad days. What would make me different than other recruits are definitely my passion for the sport. Volleyball has my heart. My parents raised me to be disciplined about everything, especially sports wise and work ethics. I work my hardest when no one’s looking. If something isn’t working, I will find ways to fix it. Academic wise, I am an honor student with a 4.0 GPA. I make sure to be on top of things all the time. Trying my best to not procrastinate and do my assignments correctly. I always like to go above and beyond with project. I pick up lessons fairly quickly. As a person, I am really direct and honest about things. I am really hyper and loud. I am always laughing. I am really energetic throughout the whole day. I am very respectful. I like to learn new things about myself and other people. I am attentive and aware. I am selfless and always willing to help. I like giving more than receiving. And very uplifting others.
