People use the term "volleyball is just a sport", although to me it's a strong committing passion that I've lived with since the day I started. I, Kyana Gabriel is currently attending Ke Kula ʻo Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu, a Hawaiian medium education school located in Keaʻau, Hawaiʻi. As a student athlete I have had many challenges to face and balancing academics and extracurricular activities is one of them, but for as long as I can remember I've pushed through till this day. I have dreamed of playing D1 college volleyball and it has never changed since. Although my goal is to play division 1 volleyball. I am also interested in juco and would like to continue on from there into division 1. I have been on the lookout for a career in psychotherapy, specifically CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am looking in earning a PhD or PsyD in clinical, counseling or even school psychology. I have always been on about academics and keeping my grades, and will continue to push for high grades. I thank and appreciate all coaches that take the time and consideration into my profile.
