Aloha Coaches,
My name is ʻAleʻa Cabral. I am a Junior at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, class of 2024. I discovered my passion for volleyball 5 years ago and have been playing ever since. Currently I play for Maunalani 17's Volleyball Club in Hawaii , and was with Spike and Serve Club for the past 3 years. I also played beach volleyball with Spike and Serve for 3 years; also under the tutelage of Alika Williams of Hunakai Beach. I am a Libero/DS, but I am a versatile player and am capable of playing all positions on the court. I have the will to work hard, a positive attitude and a strong leader on the court. I am also highly coachable, and always strive to improve myself in all aspects - on and off the court. I hope to continue my volleyball journey throughout college, where I aspire to study aviation, architecture or medical field.
Balancing school, sports and social life are very important to me. I currently have a 3.8 grade point average as an incoming Junior, and I am enrolled in college level courses. I also care greatly for my community and our environment, so I joined the “Give Back Club” at school. We volunteer at beach cleanups, help distribute food, and be role models among our peers.
I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
ʻAleʻa Cabral
