From a young age, my parents have instilled in me the importance of education. They always told me that I was a student-athlete, with the "student" coming before the "athlete." This concept taught me time management with my schoolwork and practice or game schedules. With this being said, education was always a priority and important to me, and my goal for high school is to graduate with an Honors Diploma. Along with striving for excellence in both volleyball and school, I am a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at my school. Being a part of FCA teaches me to stay committed to Christ through aspects such as integrity, serving, teamwork, and excellence.
After high school, I plan on attending a college that will allow me to play volleyball at the next level, while pursuing an education.
On the court, I am a team player. I give my 110% effort in everything I do. My goal is to improve as an individual, which will help the team improve. I am also the type of player that you would enjoy coaching because I am encouraging and push my teammates to be the best that we can be as a team. As a team player, I understand the importance of knowing my role on the team. I know what's expected of me and I try my best to not just achieve, but to exceed those expectations.
