Teuila Faasavalu '17 Recruiting Profile

Playing volleyball has been a passion of mines since I stepped on the court at 10 years old. I have always aspired to play volleyball at the collegiate level and know that receiving a volleyball scholarship will not only fulfill a dream of mines, but also help me to attain the goal of a college degree.

I am a very versatile player as I have played almost all the positions on both my high school and club volleyball teams. Though my stature is small, I play at 100% in every game. I am quick on my feet, have a strong serve, and am a positive team player and leader.

I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the volleyball court. I study hard and maintain a 3.5 GPA. I also volunteer at the Special Olympics every year, along with various community service projects I have completed with my family, church group, and volleyball teams.   

I want to attend a college where I can excel both in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and am excited to start this new journey and make my parents and family proud.
