ALOHA!!!

My name is Zayla Sismar - Evangelista anI am a 5'4" libero, ds from Rogue Community College in Medford, Oregon.  Despite my small size, I am extremely athletic with an 8’11” touch point and an 85 inch broad jump. I am an outstanding defensive player with a 2.5 out of 3 for serve receive passing. I am very fast on the court and I can also read the ball well. I am versatile and will play where ever you need me!!  I have been playing 9+ years and feel extremely comfortable on the court.

As I grew up I have played in sand tournaments and excelled! When I got to high school I was more focused on indoor volleyball.

I went to Saint Francis School, it is a small private college preparatory school and sadly shut down after I graduated in 2019.  Academically, I have a 3.2 GPA. I aspire to be a chiropractor one day after getting my degree in Kinesiology or Exercise science.

I am currently at Rogue CC as a sophomore DS/ LIB. We won the Southern region in the NWAC and came out in 5th place in the NWAC tournament as a FIRST year program! We are currently practicing for our season that got pushed back to March due to COVID-19.

You will find me to be a strong, positive, vocal, and happy person who will provide your team with a sense of “aloha spirit." I am also extremely competitive on the court, and I can control the back row.
