Lawren Pao '24 Recruiting Profile

Aloha,

I'm Lawren Pao, a Libero/DS/Setter from the class of 2028. I just completed my freshman season at Centralia College, where I helped our team reach the NWAC Sweet 16. This season I recorded 504 service receptions (ranked 16th in the NWAC) and totaled 293 digs and 52 assists.

Although I committed as a setter, I transitioned to Libero this season, which allowed me to develop a strong defensive game while still contributing offensively with out-of-system sets. My experience as a setter has helped me read the court and direct hitters to open spots. I take pride in leading serve receive, managing passes, and allowing my setter to run successful plays.

I’m vocal and scrappy on the court, always bringing energy and intensity to every point. Defensively, I’m relentless, always giving my best to help my team succeed. I bring a positive attitude and strong communication, both on and off the court. I'm competitive and driven to improve, always striving to help my team achieve its goals.
