Hi! My name is Julia Fisher. I currently am a Freshman attending LeJardin Academy in Kailua, Hawaii. This past Varsity season, I was selected to be the only Freshman on the 2014 Varsity team. I was also a starter, playing in most if not all games.
My ultimate goal in volleyball is to improve everyday in order to exceed expectation. I apply this not only to volleyball, but to all aspects of my life, especially academics. In order to do this, I go into everyday with a positive mindset. I find that your aspirations in life should not to achieve happiness all the time, because that is simply impossible. You will have bad days, you will have good ones. I have found that life is a struggle, so my goal is to struggle well.
Leader, Confident, and Responsible: these are all words that my coaches have used to explain me.
I commit fully and whole-heartedly to anything and everything. In whatever I do, be it volleyball or school, I understand that in order to be the best I can be, I need to commit to it.
I am going to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I never tell myself I might play or maybe I will. I know what I want to do. I keep the right mindset in order to make it become a reality. In all honesty, playing college volleyball is a huge dream of mine. I intend on taking volleyball past the collegiate level and making it my career.
I will commit fully and whole-heartedly to any college team.
