Personal Statement
Since first playing Volleyball at the age of 11, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change my life.
I am a team leader, I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I have a very teachable spirit and strive to be one of the hardest working players on the court. I have been actively seeking to improve my skills by participating in the Club season and attending several camps in the off season.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Aside from volleyball, I enjoy participating in Track and Field as a shot put and discus thrower. I am also active in 4-H/FFA market animal and leadership projects. Finally, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself to be a better person both in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college fit at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers, make my parents proud, and be a great teammate.
