Hi, my name is Brookelle Dye. I currently play for Skyline High School and Idaho Peak Volleyball Club. Throughout the summer I attend volleyball camps in hopes to sharpen my skills and improve my game both mentally and physically. I’m an Outside Hitter, Middle Blocker, and Right Side, my favorite position is Outside but I will play anywhere as long as it means I get to be on that court playing the sport I love. I started playing volleyball in middle school during my 8th grade year and fell in love with the game instantly. I am an easily coachable player and love hearing corrections, advice, and how to become a better player. My passion for volleyball grows more everytime I step on the court, whether it be to practice or play. Having the opportunity to play college volleyball is one of the most important goals in my life that I work for daily.
Academically I have always strived to do my best. I take classes that both challenge me but are also manageable. Something that has always been important to me is maintaining a high GPA. I always give my classes my best effort in order to achieve good grades and keep my GPA high. Being able to go to college and get an education is a goal I strive for and think about everyday. Being academically successful has helped me to realize the importance of getting an education and has encouraged me to move forward and want to go on to college.
Being able to go to college to play volleyball and receive an education is one of the most important goals in my life. Steps I’ve already taken towards reaching this goal is balancing school, volleyball, work, family, and friends. This has taught me how to manage my time, to work towards things that are important to me, and manage my priorities. Being successful in both academics and volleyball as well as having supportive and motivating parents has encouraged me to want to become the best I can be. Volleyball is such a huge part of my life to the point where I can’t picture going to college and not being able to play the sport I love.
