I am Bailey and I play outside, and left back. One thing about me is I have amazing hustle. Every coach I’ve worked with has told me my hustle is the best they’ve seen. I don’t let a ball drop ever. I am a very uplifting player I always have a smile on my face and I help others get a smile on their face too.
I started playing volleyball in 7th grade, at first it was just a hobby to keep me active and make friends. It wasn’t until my 13U club season that I realized it was way more than just a “hobby“. I learned that even when I make mistakes, confidence was what kept me going. The times where I don’t play well, I look at my teammates and see how proud they were of me even when I made mistakes and that keeps me in a positive attitude. Volleyball has brought the good, the bad, and the sad out of me but it’s those moments that make me a better player, a better friend, and most importantly a better human being. I work hard at what I do and if I want something I go after it. That is why I don’t take volleyball lightly. So my biggest piece of advice is to go after anything and everything you put your mind to! Even though you may not end up liking it in the end, at least you can say I tried my best and there’s always something different out there for me that will work out.
