My name is Addisen Kingery and I am currently a 2023 three sport athlete (volleyball, basketball and softball) at Priest River Lamanna High School in Priest River, Idaho. Last year was my first year playing softball but I really enjoyed it and ended up getting the “Breakout Player of the Year” award. I’ve also received the “Spartan Award” (similar to MVP) the past two seasons in volleyball and the “Coaches Award” last year in basketball. With that being said, I’d like to think that I’m a very coachable player.
I have been playing basketball since 1st grade, volleyball since 3rd and last year was my first real year playing softball. With basketball and softball I’ve stuck with just our high school teams but with volleyball I’ve been playing club since 8th grade. I take pride in the fact that I’m able to play basketball and club volleyball during the same timeframe all while going to school and keeping my grades up.
I am a highly competitive athlete and always give 110% on the volleyball court. As fun as it is to have a nice, hard hit I also thinks it’s just as important to play smart and keep your eye on the competitions court.
I pride myself in saying that I have one of the strongest support systems out there. My parents, sister, aunt and grandparents rarely miss any of my games regardless of what athletic season it is. They are truly my biggest fans.
It’s really hard for me to think of a time prior to me playing volleyball. I truly LOVE the sport and look forward to continuing my athletic career beyond the high school level.
