Hi! My name is Aubree Lane. I am a 5'9" outside hitter/ DS from Sandpoint Idaho. I've been playing volleyball consistently since my U13's season. I just finished playing my freshman season at Spokane Falls Community College, where I will be returning to in the fall of 2025 to complete my Associates Degree and finishing my sophomore season of collegiate volleyball. I started my Freshman season with a grade two ankle sprain which put me out of the sport for about 2-3 weeks. With that being said I was able to come back and play the rest of my season which lead to a nomination of NWAC player of the week award, a second team all region award, as well as an MVP award for Spokane Falls. I think what makes me stand out from others is my drive to be the best version of myself in all aspects of my life. Academics are very important to me, I earned a 3.88 GPA my first semester of college and I am on track to receive a similar GPA during my second semester. During the off season I lift 3 days a week, and use blood flow restriction technology two days a week to take some of the load off of my body while staying active. I also attend open gyms two days a week, and coach a club volleyball two days out of the week as well. Volleyball has become a big part of my life and it has improved my overall mental and physical health. My goals for this next season and for the rest of my college volleyball career are as follows. I want to earn a first team all region award, or all region MVP. I would like to be one of the best serve receive passers for my college team and pass a season average anywhere from a 2.0-2.5 range. Once I am done with JUCO I aspire to play at a NCAA D2, or D1 school. I hope to be able to continue to be a force in the front and back row and potentially maintain my position as a six rotation outside. Overall my goal is to continue doing what I love and I hope to inspire those around me.
