Personal Statement
As a dedicated student-athlete, over the years of playing volleyball on club teams, I have grown to absolutely love the sport and every aspect of it. There is no question that I have a fiery passion for the game and strive to improve every chance I get. If a coach gives me pointers or advises me to do something a certain way, I go out of my way to improve and do exactly as they say. I work hard every practice no matter if it is club practice, school practice, tryouts, or a camp (I love to be pushed harder and enjoy tough practices). I grow close to my teammates and act like myself from the start. I dedicate myself to improvement in academic and athletic teachings. I am a very positive person towards myself and other people, especially my teammates. I give 100% every chance I can get my hands on the ball. I am a very focused person and always make sure that I am doing everything I can to better the ball. I love being pushed to be the best I can be, I am versatile and have played every position in a competitive gameplay situation. I am adaptable to the coach's needs for positions and techniques on the court and will play any position I am needed for. My love for the sport dives deep as I have watched volleyball for years even before I started playing.
I am looking for a school that provides hard work, perseverance, energy, positivity, and focus on the court and in the classroom. The location of the school does not matter as I would play anywhere in the country. I will be pursuing a degree in Biology to then work towards my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
