I have been playing volleyball since 2nd grade. It started as a way for my parents to keep me busy during my older sister's club tournaments, but I quickly realized how much I loved it, and it has been a major part of my life ever since. One of my favorite things about playing volleyball is getting to play great teams. I strive to challenge myself and love the drive it creates in me to be an even better player. This is also why I take feedback from coaches and apply it to my game as quickly as possible.
As a freshman, my coach asked me to play DS/Libero on Varsity instead of my usual position as a six-rotation OH. I said yes because I knew it was what the team needed and that it would help me become a better player. Playing on the same court as my sister (who was a senior) is something I'll never forget. My goal is to play for a college program where I can make a real contribution on and off the court.
