I started playing volleyball when I was 13 years old. I was always self conscious about the fact that I started kind of “late” in life, but I then quickly realized that it’s not about how you start, but about the progress made. Since then, I have always wanted to play volleyball at a collegiate level, and I’m constantly working on my skill on and off the court.
I’m very encouraging and uplifting on the court and I do my best to let my teammates know that they’re doing their best. Although I am a setter, I would not like to play as one in college, but as a DS or Libero because I love playing defense. I have a strong jump serve and great communication on the court. I strive to be as open and coachable as possible.
I am just as dedicated and hardworking in the classroom, as I continue to maintain a 4.2 GPA.
In the classroom, I give it my all everyday and maintain a good GPA. I have a strong work ethic and understanding when it comes to my school work.
I am looking to attend a college that has a good psychology program and will push me. I want it to be able to truly feel like one big family. I want to be able grow with this college and make my family proud.
