Kamryn Paholke '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to push myself to see just how far I can go. I want to play volleyball in college because it is my passion. Not only is it my passion but it will also help me receive the opportunity to go to college and work to become a dental hygienist. I am the middle child of five kids. My mother has legal custody of me and is striving to take care of my siblings and I by herself. Neither of my older brother  and sister are attending a university. Therefor it would mean the world to my family for me to be the first one to accomplish this dream. For my current teams, I generate great energy for everyone. I pump everyone up and get them excited (even if I wasn’t involved in the play). I have a very strong mindset and am a very dedicated player. My freshman season at Grant, my team took 34 and 1 (including tournament games). So over the course of our entire fall season we had only lost one game. I was a starter the entire season and I played all 6 rotations of being an outside. Currently I am only 5’6, so in college I wish to dedicate myself to being a libero or defensive specialist. I would be a great candidate for your team because I have a really good work ethic and I will literally dive for every ball you throw at me.
