Kate Kiser '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kate Kiser and I am in the class of 2017 at Grant High School located in Fox Lake, Illinois. I am a setter for both my high school and club volleyball programs.  I play club ball for Sky High Volleyball in Crystal Lake, Illinois. 

I am a 5’10’ setter with a 5.324 GPA based on a 4.0 scale and am currently ranked 2nd in my class of 480. I have a strong interest in the health sciences and plan to study biology in college with a long term goal of becoming a Craniofacial Surgeon.  

I have been the starting setter on my high school Varsity volleyball team and club team as well as team captain since freshman year. I run an aggressive up tempo 5-1 both at club and high school. On the court I would describe myself as a vocal leader, the work horse of the team, offensive minded, dependable, hard working, dedicated, passionate, driven and positive. Off the court I would describe myself as devoted to my studies, compassionate, loyal, respectful, ambitious, responsible, fun, honest, and a good friend.

I am self driven and a hard worker both on and off the court. I love a challenge and always look for ways I can improve on the court and in my studies.  I love the game of volleyball and will put in the work necessary for a successful season!
