I am an outside hitter, playing all six rotations, for both my high school and club teams. I am very versatile and have a strong desire to be on the volleyball court in any capacity at the collegiate level.
I have had a passion for volleyball since a very young age. I believe I am a good candidate because I always look forward to stepping out on the court and improving skills whether it is through practice or a game. I am a natural leader and strive to bring the best out of myself and my teammates. My coaches at the club and high school levels have recognized my leadership skills and coachability, naming me captain.
I am constantly looking for ways to get better and love trying new plays/strategies to strengthen my game. In addition to being a hard worker on the volleyball court, I have a strong work ethic in the classroom. This is evident by my 4.979/4.0 GPA and class ranking of 10/460. Not only that but I am a member of the National Honor Society and student council. I relish partaking in volunteer opportunities that these clubs create. I recently attended a World Affairs Seminar for student leaders that gave me more insight into being a productive leader.
Helping others see progress and get through struggles is very important to me. I aspire to become a nurse so that I can aid people throughout my everyday life. Time management has always been a strong suit of mine and though balancing nursing and volleyball may be challenging at times, I am prepared to push myself and see all the things I can accomplish.
