Growing up I was always told I‘m unique and different. Told I was so independent and powerful for my age. As I grew I tried finding the things I enjoyed, then I discovered volleyball. Ever since my first day of practice to today, I have always thought to myself how can I get better right now? I always enjoy communicating with my teammates and coaches to figure out what works for them that I can change. With that I took it a step further, this fall although covid was difficult to get around I became a volunteer coach with my old club owner and varsity coach at my high school. This was an amazing opportunity and I just recently got the opportunity to do it again! It’s from ages 10-14 and I enjoy helping, teaching and also learning at the same time from every perspective. With this volunteer work I also managed my job working as a hostess at a restaurant, which is an awesome experience to have. It has helped me built a lot of people skills and being able to work with a team. With this I am also currently balancing my academics. I am an Honors Chemistry and English student. Which gives me great opportunities next year during my junior year! I’ve always loved being busy and having many things to balance! Where as of which is why I’m able to get so many great experiences which I cannot wait to get some more in my future!
