Grace Markovitz '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal whether on the bench or on the court is to be the best teammate I can possible be.  I have very strong leadership qualities especially in the ability to talk. I think what makes me different is that I can listen while being a leader. I've been team captain of multiple teams, in club and school, and I have always been able to handle anything that comes my way. Being the ball of energy on the court is what I'm known for. I've never been quiet on a volleyball court, and even if I don't play I'll always be there to cheer on the rest of my teammates. I take pride in my ability to let things go. The ability to not sweat the small stuff helps me reevaluate to change the next play. This benefits me as a player and my team because I don't let one thing that I messed up bring down the entire team. My goals in college are pretty simple I just want to be able to play, regardless of the ranking. I'm competitive but the love of the sport is why I play.
