Reiley Drake '19 Recruiting Profile

I have a passion for volleyball and school.  I work hard on the court and in the classroom and put my soul into my performance in both of those areas.  I am determined to play volleyball in college and will work to get scholarships for academics and volleyball.  Nothing can beat the feeling of being with your teammates and working together no matter if it's to win a point, set, or game.  I love bringing high energy and excitement to the court whether we are up 20 points, or down 20 points.  I do not let the score affect the way I play, or the way I act towards my teammates and encourage them.  I play to win, and I play for my teammates.  I know that my job on the court is important, and I strive to fulfill my duties on my team even if I am cheering them on from the sidelines.  I take criticism and help from coaches very well, and I will always look you in the eyes and listen to what you are telling me, whether it is something I am doing wrong and need to fix, or something right that I need to keep up.  I know that whatever college recruits me, I will not disappoint.  I will play my heart out every point, and cherish the memories made along the way.  Volleyball is one of the most important things to me in my life, and I wish to continue playing this game I love until I am physically unable to (and after that, I will watch my kids or grandkids play some day).  Thank you for your time!
