I just started playing club volleyball 2 years ago and I absolutely love it! This past year of club was so challenging, exciting and fun that I would love to continue playing throughout high school and college. My dream is to play for a D1 Big Ten college. I have learned so much about volleyball and know I have the work ethic and drive to continue getting better as a player and a teammate. One of the things I hear is that I am extremely coachable. I listen to the coaches and value corrections and do my best to become a more skilled, stronger player. As I am moving into U15 I realize that I need to continue working hard so that I can be an excellent asset to my team. Team has always been valuable to me, I was named captain for my U14 Elite team last year and it was so important for us to work together and lift each other up to reach our goals. I was awarded the CFED SPVB Spirit award in 2022 for U14 which is given to one girl in each age division that exemplifies the commitment to excellence that Sports Performance teaches. This is shown through hard work, support of teammates, increase in skill, attitude and excellence in all levels. I am so honored to have received this award and have carried these lessons to my high school team making varsity as a freshmen. I was able to be a starter and committed to being the best I could be for the team. I have learned so much in the last couple of years and I am looking forward to learning more in the future as I work hard to reach my goals. I am an excellent student carrying a 4.0 GPA and have found a good balance so far between school and athletics.
