Malia Takiguchi '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am Malia Takiguchi and I’ve been playing volleyball since 7th grade. My primary position is a Libero and my secondary position is DS. This past school season our team won conference and regional titles. I was named as one of the Top players in the conference for this high school season.  I’d describe myself as a leader both on and off the court, I’m outgoing, courageous and strive for perfection even though it’s not obtainable.  I have always been very dedicated to the activities, people and sport I most care about. I am always pushing myself to do my best. I always put my best effort into everything from Club play to school and open gyms to get in all the reps possible. I make each moment a learning experience, to focus on the opportunity to improve and become better as an athlete, student and a person as well.
