I have been playing volleyball ever since I was in fifth grade. From the first moment I started playing, I knew this would be the sport I would dedicate all my time and effort to. I am a very hardworking player who always strives to get better. I am also a very coach-able player who is open to trying and learning different techniques and skills. I always try to set a good example for my teammates, club, coaches, and parents wherever I go and play.
As I move forward into high school and college, I hope to inspire younger girls to get involved in a sport such as volleyball. I feel being part of a team is very helpful because it builds character, teamwork, self confidence, and discipline.
As a 2020 member of the National Honor Society I believe that academics are extremely important to achieving success both on and off the court. I understand that just like in volleyball, I have to put in the hard work and effort if I am to advance in my educational goals. I strive to keep up a good GPA and I hope all my hard work transitions into college.
