As a carefree kid growing up, I just wanted to play every sport possible. I am a very competitive, coachable, driven athlete, so with hard work and training, I excelled in most of these sports. As I entered junior high and high school, I realized I could not be involved in everything. My goal then was to beat my mom's high school basketball scoring record, but the more I played volleyball, I knew that was my first love. I cried when the season was over and could not wait until the next volleyball opportunity would arise- camps, club, or volleying in the yard with my friends. By the time I was a sophomore, I knew that I wanted to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I do not want Senior Night to be my last game.
My current goals and aspirations are to do what I love doing the most, playing volleyball while pursuing an academic career in physical therapy. Not only am I a talented athlete but I have always been highly motivated to do my very best in my classes (and not because my mom makes me :-)~). I am a very easy-going, adaptable, and respectful person and teammate and could add a greater depth of cohesiveness to your volleyball program.
