Hello, my name is Mia Carani, and I am currently a junior in highschool. I earn mostly A's and B’s in my classes, and I am very committed to my sports. I started playing volleyball in middle school because my older sister inspired me to play. I would go watch her games at school and I soon desired to do the same as her. I automatically was moved to the 8th grade team, and remained there all three years of middle school. Moving into high school, I was able to make the varsity team as a starter. My positions include middle hitter, outside, and setter. I am 5’9”, and I am willing to learn and work hard at playing any position the court. I feel as though I have made great progress throughout my years in playing, and I aim to only get better.
My goals in school, college, and overall life is to be successful. I do my best to earn all A's in my classes, try to make good relationships with my teachers, and do all work assigned. Right now, I am interested in the medical field as a career. To be more specific, I am aiming to become a physical therapist or an athletic trainer. For now, I am doing my best to remain coachable and be easy to work with, and I believe that I can be able to play on a college volleyball team!
