I like to think of myself as a hard worker. Nothing is given to you on a silver plate, so I strive to push and always do my best; for my team and for myself. Being the best version of myself is all I could ever ask for. Thankfully I have coaches and parents who support my decisions in school and on the court.
Although school can be stressful, I always want to get good grades. I’ve learned that a score on a sheet of paper doesn’t define who I am or who I will become. Being able to have that confidence in myself was a big step for me; to recognize that I wasn’t as smart as other kids, and that I’d have to work twice as hard to get, academically, where I am.
Confidence in yourself is always key to anything you do!
