I love playing volleyball. My goal is to practice hard to improve my game and to execute during competitions. I enjoy the camaraderie that a volleyball team can achieve. I am hoping I can continue playing in college for the love of the game.

- AwardsFreshman year: Won honors biology, art and honors geometry awards (only student to win three class awards for my high school). Won 3rd place in a regional art competition. Sophomore year: Won at regional and state history day competitions. Placed 3rd in prelims at nationals. Junior year: Won the NPR t-shirt art contest beating out 12 professional artists, won the Rising Stars of Indiana Class of 2022 award, and got selected to display my art in the two different city-wide art shows. Also, was chosen for National Honor Society and won at a regional and state history day competitions.
- ActivitiesParticipated in art club, environment club, and national history day. Gave a speech at a Founder's Day celebration for 13 PEO clubs about my national history day project. Wrote a letter to the local newspaper to lobby for Purdue to put back up one of the Dean of Women's monuments. Advocated for food security (volunteering at a homeless shelter, Hunger Hike and Community Thanksgiving), immigration (tutoring at immigration classes) and cancer awareness (raising money for Light the Night and Relay for Life). During the pandemic, I sewed masks for healthcare workers and wrote to people in nursing homes.
