Discovering the sport of volleyball has lead to the development of skills such as an assiduous work ethic and the determination to constantly improve. When it comes time to play on the court, my best characteristics and abilities, such as communication, flexibility, and cooperation are valuable assets in helping me improve my overall game. These skills are critical in working with new and veteran teammates, especially with the play-by-play challenges of volleyball. Whenever I am faced with challenges, I approach it with courage and confidence. Staying optimistic keeps me engaged on a goal without becoming distracted. I find this an incredibly important character trait of a strong volleyball player and leader.
Volleyball has been a huge influence on my life and has been a constant focal point for different aspects both at school and within extracurriculars as well. The decisions that I make when it comes to how I spend my time or what classes I take are all influenced by my lifelong dream to continue a career either playing or being a part of the volleyball world. I plan on continuing to take challenging classes in school to prepare myself for the rigorous academics that will follow in college.
My ultimate goal is to find a collegiate volleyball program that will fit my academic and athletic objectives and aspirations. I'm committed to improving my leadership, work-ethic, and character on and off the court in order to attain my goals. I am fully dedicated to always improving and being a positive impact on any team that I play on, be it in volleyball or in life. I'm incredibly excited about future potential opportunities to play volleyball at a collegiate level, and I look forward to achieving my goals in the future as a result of my commitment to succeed.
