Kathleen Bishop '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katie Bishop. I am working with NCSA because I love the game of volleyball.  As I embark on a new adventure of moving to Stuttgart, Germany I am participating in travel volleyball out in town. I play on 2 German teams currently and am the starting setter for both my under 20 team and over 20 team. 

I am the starting Varsity setter and Captain at my school, Stuttgart High School. We are undefeated and hope to maintain this momentum in upcoming games.  I am not the quickest, strongest most athletic volleyball player but I do believe that I am the most hardworking, coachable, determined player with a lot of heart and love for volleyball. Currently, at school, I am in the yearbook club, Peer Mentorship Club, NEHS Publicist and I am a Student 2 Student Ambassador. 

 As a military daughter, I have moved 7 times and tried many different sports but volleyball is by far my favorite. I love the fast pace of every rally and the friendships you create with teammates and coaches. I will find ways to win and be the best version of myself possible both on and off the court.
