Chandler Dickie '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was 11 years old.  I developed a passion for this sport from an early age with the help of an amazing coach. I have aspired since then to continue working each day to be the best I can be for this sport and all endeavors that come my way. I know striving to play at a collegiate level has pushed me on and off the court. 

I am very coach-able and strive to always be known as the "hardest worker on the court". I believe in leading by example and so try to create a team bond through modelling what I believe a high level athlete should be. 

I have a sense of the game and very quick defensive skills. I am able to read the other team's offense and am quick to defend.  My hitting decisions often create a strong offense for my team. I have worked hard to develop a strong jump serve.

I have high academic standards and work hard to maintain a 95%+ average in all my subjects. I believe that character, academics and athletics are all interrelated and each can have a positive impact on one another.  I have spend time helping younger players develop in my club.

My desire is to attend a post secondary institution with high academic offerings and standards and play at the most competitive collegiate level possible. I am looking forward to a great future.
